Unveiling Rongxin Zhongliang: A Beacon of Modern Oriental Aesthetics

Jason Shen's Award-Winning Sales Center Design Marries Nature and Contemporary Art

Jason Shen's inspiration for the Rongxin Zhongliang Sales Center design was drawn from the profound historical and immediate significance of the location. The project is situated in a city described in a purely modern way, known as the "mountain and river in the southeast of the world". Shen's design approach aimed to peel off the hustle and bustle of the city, using the concept of "Nature outside of Qianxun", using light and shadow to communicate with each other.

The Rongxin Zhongliang Sales Center stands out for its unique properties. It is a testament to the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, as established at the 19th National Congress of the Party. The design maps out an inspiring blueprint for a moderately prosperous society, striving for success in a new era. The center is a physical manifestation of this vision, a symbol of the new development philosophy.

The realization of this design was achieved through the use of various materials including black and white root marble, imitation carrara white marble brick, brushed imitation copper stainless steel, and oak wood finish. Covering an area of 509 square meters, the center is a testament to the designer's ability to create a sense of scale and feeling, improving the quality of space.

The design process was not without its challenges. The developers wanted the indoor and outdoor environments to communicate better. This required the use of large area glass, strict control on the floors, and optimization of the spatial structure. Through constant communication and cost optimization, the desired effect was finally achieved.
